HOW TO REACH:

1.BY AIR: One can easily take a flight to The Maharana Pratap Airport situated in Dabok which is only 22kms away from UDAIPUR.

2.BY TRAIN:
It is a convenient option for travelling UDAIPUR  is by train as the city has its own railway station.

3.BY BUS: Another great alternative is taking a direct bus (sleeper or semi-sleeper) to UDAIPUR.

One of the oldest and largest lake of UDAIPUR, Lake Pichhola has a very mesmerizing beauty as it is covered with lofty green mountains,palaces and temples.The environment here is perfect for nature and peace lovers .Lake Pichhola is very popular and welcomes lakhs of tourists every year. If you are coming here you can also try boating which will be a huge add on to your visit (especially at dawn) as being in the middle of lake surrounding by palaces and mountains will take you to a different world.

2.The City Palace,UDAIPUR

One of best palaces in the whole country,The City Palace of UDAIPUR is an architectural marvel located at the banks of Lake Pichhola. The palace was built is the year 1559 by Maharana Udai Singh and was thereafter renovated by his successors.
You can visit The City Palace from 9:30 A.M to 5:30 P.M. Also the entrance fees of the palace is:
ADULT(Above 18 years)- 250 INR
CHILDREN(5-18 years)- 100 INR
ALL TYPES OF CAMERA- 250 INR

3.JAG MANDIR PALACE

A palace which has stolen hearts of all the tourists, Jagmandir Palace also known as Lake Garden Palace is located on the island of Lake Pichhola was built 400 years ago for entertainment of Mewar Royalty. This palace continues to host celebrity weddings and events. 
To experience the royal culture of Mewar, one should definitely visit JagMandir Palace of Udaipur.

4.AHAR CENOTAPHS


If you love to know about history and architecture,this place is for you. Ahar Cenotaphs are situated in the town of Ahar which is only 2 kms east of UDAIPUR. Basically, Cenotaph is a small tomb which is built in honor of the kings and queens and other brave people. The Cenotaphs of Ahar were created to remember the bravery of the kings of Mewar. It is open from 6:00 A.M to 6:00 P.M everyday.
