HOW TO REACH?

BY AIR: The nearest airport to MANALI is Bhuntar Airport which is approximately 50 kms away from MANALI. You can easily take a taxi from the airport to reach MANALI.

BY TRAIN: JoginderNagar Railway Station is the nearest railway station from MANALI which is about 163 kms away.There are no buses or flights connecting JoginderNagar and MANALI, so easiest way to commute would be by taking a pre-paid taxi.

BY BUS: This is the most reliable way to reach MANALI as many buses are there with which you can directly go to MANALI.

BEST PLACES TO VISIT IN AND NEAR MANALI?

1. ROHTANG PASS

If you are going to MANALI, then ROHTANG PASS is a must visit.The snowy mountains in the way to Rohtang Pass looks surreal.You can easily book a taxi which will give you a round trip from Rohtang Pass to your hotel.Also,you can enjoy some snow sports there.

TIPS:
1. You should reserve a whole day for Rohtang Pass as enjoying in snow will be tiring.
2. Rent the snow outfits from any shops if you don’t wanna wet your clothes.
3. Network availability is very low there so be prepared.

2. HADIMBA TEMPLE


HADIMBA TEMPLE dedicated to Hidimba Devi surrounded by forests in MANALI  is a historic wooden temple where no idol is seen but footprints of the beloved goddess. 
One should visit this temple to witness serene beauty of it and worship for their goodness.

3. MALL ROAD OF MANALI

Mall Road is the main and busiest street of MANALI. It is famous for street shopping and good food. This street has something for everyone from big restaurants,bars to small food joints ,from Kashmiri and Kullu shawls,rags,clothes to wooden furniture and books. 
For your trip Mall Road is the best place to start with as your hotel would likely to be near this street.

4. SOLANG VALLEY


Solang Valley is also a great choice to visit in MANALI. It is about 17 kms away from MANALI bus stand. For adventure freaks and people who wanna escape from bustling noises of the cities,it is the best place to visit as it offers a couple of sport activities like skiing(in winters),paragliding etc.

5. BEAS KUND


Those who love trekking or hiking, Beas Kund is an amazing trek to go for. Once you reach the top you will be mesmerized by the view of Pir Panjal Ranges. Also the trek is not so difficult so its okay if you are not an expert in trekking.
TIPS:
1. It is risky to go here in rainy seasons.
2.Sometimes it is closed in winters due to heavy snowfall.

6. TREK TO BIJLI MAHADEV TEMPLE


Bijli Mahadev is located on top of the hills in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh and it is about 65 kms away from MANALI. The trek to the temple is very easy and it takes around 2 hours to reach the temple. The temple gained attraction because it is said that Shiv Lingum in the temple breaks down itself by the lightning and after that the priests places the pieces together with butter as an adhesive. The view from the temple is so surreal and magnificent. It would be a great choice to go for trek to Bijli Mahadev.

BEST TIME TO VISIT MANALI ?

Ideal months to visit MANALI is from March to June but if you want to experience snow then you can go MANALI in October to February.
*High chances of snowfall in MANALI are from mid-December to January.
